Housing the largest collection of Impressionist artwork in the world, the Art Institute of Chicago is a beautiful escape from the bustle of the city. We went on one of our first dates here and it was amazing!
Right across the street from the venue and one of the city's most notable tourist attractions! Listen to a concert or take a photo at The Bean!
A few miles north of the city center is one of the only free zoos in the United States- Lincoln Park Zoo. Enjoy seeing the dolphins and lions and walking through the gorgeous park! Our first apartment was on the south end of the park (look up and you may see it!), so we would take walks through the zoo frequently throughout the year!
An amazing greek restaurant within walking distance of the hotel! Reservations recommended!
Not sure where to try? Go to Time Out Market for a sampling of the best restaurants in Chicago at that time!
One of the combined McDowell/McCauley special occasion favorites! Their patio is rated one of the best patios in the city, and the food is simply incredible! Reservations recommended.
The iconic Spanish tapas restaurant in Lincoln Park opened a River North location! Their patatas bravas and sangria are a staple in our household! Reservations recommended.
