Kelsey and Cody first met in August of 2016, at the classic Philadelphia establishment, Irish Pub. While each intended to meet up with friends for a few drinks, neither of them anticipated meeting their future spouse. Having many mutual connections but never having met prior to that night, they closed down the bar after hours of conversation (on a Thursday night). Like a true gentleman Cody walked Kelsey home, and in good form Kelsey waited a full week before allowing Cody to take her out on their first real date. As the number of dates quickly grew, Kelsey and Cody knew early on that they were a perfect fit. They shared many laughs as they learned more about each other while pushing themselves to explore new places and experiences. Notable items include Kelsey introducing Cody to the world of skiing, and Cody showing Kelsey the art of “Football Sundays.” On May 26th 2018, the couple took their Goldendoodle Molly out for one of their favorite hikes on the Wissahickon trail. Little did Kelsey know that before the hike was over, Cody would get down on one knee and ask the BIG question. Kelsey put on the ring and said “yes!” in tears of joy. The couple lives in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia. Kelsey is a graduate of the University of Denver where she played on the women’s lacrosse team. She’s preparing to launch her career as a Dentist as she completes her final year at Temple Dental School. Cody grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University where he too played lacrosse. He is a commercial real estate broker at CBRE, where he recently celebrated his 5 year anniversary with the firm. The couple is beyond excited to celebrate with family and friends on their special day, September 7th, 2019 at Huntingdon Valley Country Club!
