Located approximately 18 minutes away, Montrose takes great pride in this natural wonder. It is 48 miles long with breathtaking cliff faces that can reach as high as 2,722 feet. There are multiple outlooks to take in the beauty of the canyon and a small museum where visitors can learn more about the importance of the Black Canyon to the San Juan Valley.
Cedaredge Applefest will be showcasing local businesses, apple orchards, artists, and musicians from October 4th through the 6th. The event is approximately 45 minutes from Montrose and brings together 200+ vendors, and over 30,000 attendees each year.
