Family and Friends - Celebrate our love and marriage on July 26th, 2024 in Cleveland, OH

Mike, a dermatology resident from Cleveland, Ohio, and Megan, a dermatology nurse practitioner from Sudbury, Massachusetts, were fatefully brought together through their workplace - a dermatology practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. Megan was searching for additional information regarding a very rare dermatologic disease that she was treating. A simple Google search happened to stumble upon Mike’s journal article that described the treatment for this exact patient disease. Megan thought Mike’s name sounded familiar… and quickly realized he was completing his dermatology residency within the same practice. Little did she know, she would soon reach out to her future husband. Megan sent a Microsoft Teams message to Mike asking for more details on the treatment. He had seen her picture previously and seized the opportunity to pursue. He decided to call Megan to “discuss in more detail.” This planted a seed that would soon blossom. Fast forward several months. A drug rep dinner at Ocean 44 would be the first formal meeting between the couple. Mike arrived to the dinner late with one seat still open to sit…next to Megan. The dinner was consumed with side conversation and giggles. A first date was soon to approach. On Wednesday, March 16, 2022 the two enjoyed wine, bruschetta, and laughter at Postinos bar until the restaurant closed. An immediate sense of familiarity and love consumed the night. Both Megan and Mike realized - this would be their last, first dates. With Dolly's lick of approval, the adventures were set to begin. Over the next two years, Mike and Megan accomplished several goals together. Most notably, Mike graduated from Honor Health dermatology residency and started his career as a dermatologist at Saguaro Dermatology. Mike and Megan made their homes one, creating a true family alongside Dolly. They have travelled both domestically and internationally, collecting memories (and kitchenware) along the way. Their first trip was to Sedona, Arizona on April 30, 2022- exactly one year after the first Microsoft Teams correspondence. Their first photo was taken outside of the Chapel of the Holy Cross church, the same location they will be married on May 10th, 2024. In August 2023, Mike and Megan planned a trip to Greece- stopping in London and Paris along the way. They decided to explore the Greek islands of Santorini, Paros, and Mykonos before flying back home from Athens falling more in love in each breathtaking destination! Mike proposed to Megan on the most beautiful evening in Santorini, Greece on August 26, 2023. They share a love that is truly meant to be. They are so excited and thankful to celebrate with you and ready to exchange vows to continue their story as husband and wife.
