Two souls could have met in the middle of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, in 2009, but they didn't. One soul could have watched the other soul perform poetry to 6000 people in January 2017 (as he contemplated and then decided to move to Champaign-Urbana, Illinois), but he didn't. Two souls could have coexisted in the same place for a decade together, but they didn't. Two souls could have turned off their dating apps on August 18, 2018, giving up hope on love, one moving to that same city and one about to leave it. But they didn't. And then they talked. They discussed British poetry and music and the philosophy of science and their shared love of T.S. Eliot, Bob Dylan, and wine and cheese plates. And their shared hatred of manchego and Houlihan's. (Sorry, manchego and Houlihan's.) Two souls finally met. And then they fell in love. Welcome to our wedding website. We're glad to share this wild love journey we've had with all of you. Including the number of times we’ve had to reschedule this thing. (Note: This love story should be subtitled "The Redemption of Dating Apps" because we truly owe all of this to Tinder.)
