We're getting married!

The romantic gesture was certainly a smash. On the evening of the proposal, Austin invited a small group of close friends over to their house under the guise of celebrating his birthday. Right before opening the elaborate taco bar they made to serve for dinner, Austin brought Erin to the center of the room and started to get emotional. Erin carried a glass of wine with her prepared to make a toast. Then, as she and Austin embraced, the glass fell to the floor and shattered. The guests moved quickly to clean up the mess so Austin could continue with his plans. But the groom-to-be didn't flinch. Surrounded by spilled wine, shards of glass, and frantic, friendly helpers, Austin got down on one knee, coolly popped open the ring box, and asked Erin to marry him. She said yes! The betrothed couple spent the rest of the evening celebrating with their friends, laughing about the lost glass of wine, and eating tacos.
