always & forever

Francisco was at a summer engineering internship at UCLA. Maythe had just returned from studying abroad in Madrid. Maythe's cravings led her to Diddy Reese near UCLA. It was there where her close Sorority friend introduced her to Frankie. She was Frankie's best friend's Sister. Frankie was not in the mood for Diddy Reese and Maythe was not interested in a guy interfering with her plans of catching up with her friend……..but the stars aligned that night. They met, they connected, and the rest is history.

Frankie planned an amazing first date…..a rooftop dinner at Downtown Disney's Jazz Kitchen, with the perfect seat where you could watch the Disneyland Fireworks. Maythe, being the forgetful person she is, completely forgot that she had a family reunion and had to cancel. A few weeks later, once again, the stars aligned. After a long Sorority Recruitment Practice, Maythe called Frankie to schedule a last-minute first date. "I'm craving tacos," Maythe said. "I know the perfect spot," Frankie replied. That night, they sat in the back of Frankie's 1987 Honda CRX, eating Downtown LA street tacos, getting to know each other...falling in love. Living in Madrid, Maythe missed the LA City Skyline very much. After a few delicious tacos and dessert at California Donuts, Frankie took Maythe to his favorite location at Mullholland Drive. There, they overlooked the LA skyline….magic happened, sparks flew, and they shared their first kiss.

After a month of taco dates, midnight drives, coffee dates and pulling all nighter's at IHOP studying for college exams, Frankie invited Maythe to a night of bowling on Wednesday September 23rd 2015. Del Rio Lanes in Downey "Quarter Mania Wednesdays". Where you can get four quarter games, three quarter shoe rentals, two quarter pizza's and 1 one soon to be unforgettable night. The clock struck twelve, Quarter Mania had ended, Frankie and Maythe gathered themselves from a night of friendly competition and continued their night at a local donut & coffee shop. There in the parking lot of Tony's Donuts on September 24th 2015 Frankie asked Maythe to be his Girlfriend.

July 5th 2021 after 5 years of adventures, accomplishments, failures and unconditional love, the day come where Frankie would ask Maythe to be his Always & Forever. They left Dallas, TX and landed in Los Angeles, CA for dinner at their favorite ramen shop and a drive down memory lane. After dinner Frankie suggested they get desert at Diddy Reese (Where they both met). On their way to Diddy Reese, Frankie just so happened to casually drive by Mulholland Drive (where they shared their first Kiss on their first date) 'Let's go for old time's sake?" Frankie asked. "Why not!" Maythe Replied. He drove up the mountain, parked his car, and open Maythe's door to a view of a sunset over the City of Angels. Little did Maythe know that the people taking photos and videos of another person at the same location, were meant for her and Frankie. He had planned this for months. Frankie began to tell Maythe how much love and happiness she had brought into his life, how he could not imaging a life without her by her side. He got down on one knee and asked her "Will you marry me?" All Maythe could do was cry tears of joy and nod "Yes!" There they would begin their journey to eternity.
