31 flavors!!!! My Leo Queen. I met Kendra around Bradford Place when we were like 8 or 9. I was outside and I had my little bag filled with my favorite things. Nail polish, paper, pens and toys probably. I asked if I could paint her nails. She said yes, of course. Our relationship developed as my mom allowed me to spend more time at her house with her family. I never wanted to leave. What I love about Ken, is her laugh. She enjoys being a furry puppy Mom to Lola, trap music, taking care of everyone, adventuring, Tik Toking, traveling and having a good time. It’s hard to name just one favorite memory with Ken considering we have so many years in and many memories. All the Barbie’s, halloween parties, getting caught stealing, the boys, Vette chasing YOU around in the white Van, plenty of dc nights out like Kevin Hart calling me the party friend all night.. 26 years later, we aren’t celebrating with Barbies this time. Having you by side to enter a new phase in my life is a big blessing. I look forward to turning up with you for my big day! I love you. 😭

Shamira and I became friends when we were attending Francis Scott Key elementary school. I remember being so hyped to be her friend, lol. We would dress up like the boys and wear cornrows to show our peers we’re cute, smart and tomboyish. Our relationship developed in the 4th grade and I would always go to her family events, games and house If I wasn’t over Kendra’s. I was obsessed with her Powerpuff girl bedding and her big girl bed with the matching dresser. Shamira enjoys being a mom, getting pampered, the spa, getting dressed up for a night out on the town, traveling, trying new things and planning events, secretly. What I love most about Shamira is that she always been down for whatever. I would never forget, If I had a video shoot and I wanted her as a vampire/witch/dressed in all black ensemble or whatever. She always came through, on time as the baddest witch/vampire you’ve ever seen, LOLOL. Shamira is caring, honest, loving, supportive and always on time. My earth side taurus angel with a big heart without any judgement and not afraid to curse me out when I do something stupid. Continue to keep me and guide me through this thing called life. I promise to do the same. I can’t see doing life life/mom life/wife life without you. I love you. Let’s celebrate!!! 👠

Donald, I can’t remember the first time we actually met but I’m sure it’s through Kendra. Our relationship started to develop when Donald attended my very first performance in Baltimore. I remember being so grateful. Then he followed up by coming to NYC when I realized I was crazy to come to NYC alone to sing in time square with my little karaoke machine, lolol. He didn’t let me be out there alone. One memory I have but I’m sure he’s happy he no longer have to deal with is me putting sheets in the dishwasher or hanging them over the balcony. Or riding a bike home wearing an iron man mask, scaring our neighbors. Donald loves his furry puppy son Hugo, laughing, traveling, trying anything new, whiskey and just being GQ. What I love about Donald is that he’s intelligent, quiet but full of information, always listening, caring, supportive, hilarious and always there. Donald was there for me during a few phases of my life that were difficult and questionable and that’s something I wont forget. I am now happy to share this new phase of my life. I couldn’t see myself here without you Don Beezy. 🥂

Sid and I met through Brian, thank you Brian for Sidney. Lol. She invited me to a concert one night in dc and we spent the rest of the late night talking in a diner in Adams Morgan. I remember feeling like I will miss her after she got into her Uber. Our relationship developed after a few more events/nights in dc, right before the pandemic and during. One of our most bizarre memories was leaving our homes during the lockdown, to meet with this lady who own a beauty supply store and sneak in through the back door to get some braiding hair. During that time, you’re business can only be open if it was an essential business. Hair was NOT! I don’t temper leaving with hair but it was a wild day. LOL. What I love about Sid, she’s that friend that texts you and be like “what we doing today?” cooks for you, asks great questions and is so positive. She loves her furry puppy child Zadie, dancing, getting massages, traveling, writing, New York, trying new things and spending time with her long time friends and family. Sid, your confidence, Virgo energy, kindness especially to service workers, uplifting commentary and New York attitude inspires me and makes me grateful to have you apart of my life. It makes me grateful to have you apart of this next phase of my life, the wedding. Ju Hearrrrd. I love you girl, as you would say “It’s gonna be a time!”
