Koke'e State Park is a must do day trip while you are on Kauai! Come up for a hike + brunch at the lodge. Great food + drinks.
Iconic local steakhouse. I grew up coming here, it was my grandpa's favorite! Reservations recommended (it's one of the only restaurants out here!)

A permit is required for all non-Hawaii residents. Permits sell out FAST! So be ready exactly 30 days in advance to purchase online @ gohaena.com. One of the best hikes in the world! We love hiking to the beach (medium - 4 mi out + back) or if you are feeling up for it all the way to the falls (hard - 8 mi out + back).
