We met our freshman year at Penn State when we both lived in the same dorm building (shout out Stone Hall). Our friend group quickly became intertwined but the two of us didn't get close until our senior year. With graduation looming, we didn't know where things would take us. Fortunately, we decided it was worth the risk and officially started dating that summer after graduating.

One Saturday morning in October, Sean convinced Kaitlyn to go on a hike so they could "see the leaves changing colors". Unfortunately, the weather had other plans- rain was in the forecast and Kaitlyn was not as enticed to go anymore. Sean, already stressed out for obvious reasons, quickly came up with a plan B to go to a nearby park for a quick stroll. Luckily (for both of them), Kaitlyn agreed. As they approached the end of their walk, it started to drizzle and there was no one in sight. Kaitlyn thought Sean was setting up his phone to snap a picture of them and the "fall foliage" but turns out, he set his camera to record and came back to ask a very important question. Of course the answer was yes!
