Maid of Honor
The maid of honor role is held by the memory of my late twin sister, Emma Glander. I always felt she was like my own special guardian angel and would want her by my side on this special day. Her photograph will be placed on a table by the altar during the processional.
Best Man
Because Sean is the best cornhole, dad-bod, and faithful guy I know, I have decided he would be my Best Man. As my oldest brother, his commitment to his faith inspired me to continue my growth in my faith. Oh and I may have adopted some of his competitiveness. Too say the least, a lot of who I am today is because of him.
Bridesmaid
She was my roommate nearly every summer at our annual family Deep Creek Lake trip. From the freezing cold lake to the warm hot tub, from shopping in town to making sopapilla cheesecake in the kitchen, we love spending time with each other. No matter what, we will always be primas.
Groomsman
From knocking out my teeth, kicking where I put the pillow, or breaking my bones I can't think of anything but joy when I think about my childhood because of this guy. Then the guidance he provided throughout high school and college was invaluable. He is definitely top 2 out of my brothers.
Bridesmaid
From Pre-IB English 10 to graduating with IB Diplomas, we helped each other survive high school. She is the person that introduced me to coffee and calls me for science advice. Despite being 900 miles apart during college, we will always be each other's "fav" person. We can always count on each other for a listening ear when we want to rant, a pep talk when we are feeling down or an adventure when we want to explore!
Groomsman
A couple months into dating Maya, this man Lucas said, "If you hurt my sister in any way I will kill you". Well I am alive today so I think I accomplished the goal. Anyways, we have definitely grown in our bond over the years and I am so glad that Maya has such a great brother. I was going to say "little brother" but you definitely have outgrown that title.
Bridesmaid
We met through a study abroad trip to Costa Rica in 2017! From the very first night, we were "roomies", sharing a a room with a bunk bed in San Juan. We explored the volcanos, rainforests, and beaches of Costa Rica and continued our friendship at the University of Tampa. We survived Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry together, and of course bonded over our love for Dunkin' Donuts.
Groomsman
From 6th grade English class, to roommates at Salisbury University, to being teammates on the SU Track & Field Team, this guy never ceases to amaze me. The amount of philosophical arguments we've had is too many to count, and it's shame he was never victorious, but maybe one day I'll let him win.
Bridesmaid
I guess there is something to be said for bonding over stressful experiences. We strengthened our friendship in Analytical Chemistry lab where literally every drop and every minute counts and participated in simulated mass casualties at an EMS conference in Boston. Not to worry though, we balanced it out with our weekly stress relieving walks and Starbucks runs every Sunday which added up to over 80 miles and more than enough caffeine.
Groomsman
The one and only Rotten-Mo-Beeper. This guy has been my best friend since day one and so many of my childhood memories were only possible because of him. From random games in our front yards, to climbing the roof at Rock Creek Valley, to TPing houses I am so glad this guy was right by my side.
