Matron of Honor

My older sister, my knight in shining blonde armor, my mentor, my greatest confidant. Rachel is one of the smartest women I know, fun considerate, strong, patient and inspiring. She is the best kind of territorial only with full determination out of love and protection for those close to her. Not only is she my sister, but a teacher, a queen, a full on fighter, a vault, an unbelievable wife, mother, and friend. As often as we disagree we relate to so much more. We will always fight whatever necessary battles to protect and defend each other and she has helped me to learn that sometimes you just cannot please everyone. And that's okay. Rachel is such a huge and vital part of my daily support system. I am so very lucky to have her as my sister and Matron of Honor on my special day.

Reid

Best Man

Reid has been Peter’s best friend for 20 years + counting with no mistaking why. He is extremely loyal, has an amazing attention to detail, a master of talents, ranging from graphic design to building furniture. They met through a mutual friend as kids & quickly found they also lived so close! It was fate. Eventually, they were together every possible chance, enjoying each other's company playing video games & eating spicy foods, still sharing these interests 20 years later! As close as a brother to Peter, their bond gets stronger every year. Both maintaining successful jobs in NYC, moved out of the house to new apartments, & got to be with the loves of their lives. Reid has always been Peter’s best man in life & his drive will ensure the show runs smoothly as the best man on the big day!

Molly

Maid of Honor

My little sister, who is not so "little" anymore, besides her height of course! Molly is both a lover & a fighter with the will to please everyone as both a blessing and a curse. I have been lucky enough to have her as a sibling and so thrilled she is a part of my wedding! I am incredibly proud of Molly and truly learn from her all the time. Although we have fought harder than I have fought anyone in my life, we couldn't be closer. This mature & insightful beauty has become part of my inspiration to know I can overcome anything. She has taken every hurdle life has given her and jumped it. A great reminder of what perseverance truly is and that you must have it. We have grown up together, and continue to teach and protect each other. I'm so happy to have Molly & her strong will at my side.

Jay

Best Man

Peter met Jay on their 1st day moving into college & instantly became friends living across the hall. They even lived together as their friendship grew, with Mike & Jovanni as Quad-mates. They shared many mutual interests & personality traits. Both were Communication Majors interested in Advertising and both became RA's, so they shared similar classes and paths in life. Jay is responsible, intelligent, and always sees the best in others. Having Jay as a friend so early on in college helped Peter open up to new opportunities, setting the path for years of hilarious hi-jinks & growth. They were so close in college people even thought Jay and Peter were brothers! Jay’s open-mindedness and gleaming personality are just a few reasons he will be Peter’s other right-hand man on our wedding day!

Back in 2010 we were both RAs in the same building at SUNY Oneonta. In working and living in close quarters we quickly knew we would be by each other's side for many years to come. Now in these 10 years we have become so close and I couldn't imagine this day without her. I owe so many other incredible friendships to this woman and am eternally grateful. Stephanie is generous, loyal, considerate, passionate, unique, and creative. We confide in each other in any situation. She is always real and upfront with me in a truly unwavering friendship. Steph has become a personal motivational speaker helping me through all of life's tough times. We've seen each other through all the frogs to finally meet our princes. I value our relationship more than I ever could have realized ten years ago.

Introduced by her sister, bridesmaid Stephanie, I am so lucky we've now had an entire decade of creating memories together. This stunning, savvy, pure fashionista has become such a vital part of my life over the past ten years. We share relatable family relationships and experiences and never fail to see eye to eye. I admire Jeanette's motivational personality and her empathy for others. She is truly happy when those close to her are happy and she hurts when they hurt. Plus, if you ever need a cohort in planning a surprise, she is without a doubt the go-to for the job! Whenever my smile is lost, Jeanette will always find it and return it to me. I know my smile would not be quite as bright if I didn't have her by my side on my wedding day.

Mike, or “Schweit” as everyone calls him, was the unofficial official ambassador of Oneonta - almost everyone in school knows him. In fact, most of Peter’s friends from Oneonta are because of Schweit’s charismatic nature and positive attitude. Schweit helped Peter break out of his shell and become more social with other groups of people on campus. After their first year, Peter and Schweit became roommates in Sherman Hall, along with other groomsmen Jay and Jovanni. His tenacious nature & fun outlook on life made the year unforgettable. Schweit has always been the life of the party, and still brings this attitude to whatever events he is a part of today. Although he may be the class clown of Peter's group, there is no doubt his genuine caring nature will shine through on this special day.

Katie has been an unwavering friend for nearly 15 years. We met back in 2006 when we discovered our shared love for theater and music. We were stage and song buddies in the schools dramas, musical performances and select choir. Although I was like her "big", the older mentor in Treble Choir and TA for Theater class, she has been the one to continuously give me insight and advice more times over these years than I could count. Katie has a heart full of love and a contagious happiness. To me, she is the true definition of loyalty. From silly thoughts and quick comments to lengthy life-altering evaluations, whenever, wherever I'd need her, she'd be there as quick as a whip without question. Even all these years later, my day would be unimaginable without her.

Last, but certainly not least - Liz! Brought into my life by Peter, my new-to-be sister, is one of the most kind and caring people I have ever met. From the moment we met she welcomed me into the family with open arms and made me feel right at home! Liz has a completely calming presence, is always inclusive, and genuinely interested in all the events of our lives. She is so full of love for Peter and would go to the ends of the earth to support and protect him, and I adore her for it. Not only is she my new sister-in-law, but I have stolen her as a friend. Liz has a heart the size of the sun, and it shines just as bright. It's obvious how much she cares for her brother and wants to see him happy as much as I do, and I could not have imagined a better addition to my loving support system!

Bride's Brother, Groomsman & wedding extraordinaire! Ebbie is without a doubt a new age Renaissance man and not to mention one of the smartest people the bride & groom have ever met. An incredible father, brother, husband, uncle, designer, craftsman, carpenter, grill master, photographer & all around amazing human. Playful and competitive, a tough guy on the outside with a heart so full of love it could explode. Although Ebbie is Maxine's Brother-in-law, for the past 15 years he has been so much more. Now to Peter as well, Ebbie is truly the brother they never had. He is one of the most inspirational men in their lives as not only a mentor & friend, but a true role model. He holds an extremely meaningful role on this special day, as they're completely honored for him to be by their sides!

Maxine's first nephew, and the smartest little man you ever had the pleasure of meeting! When Vince is not encapsulated with building extravagant Lego monuments and powering through mystery novels, you will find him casting spells from Harry Potter, reenacting scenes from the Marvel Universe, or dancing the night away to Uptown Funk and Thunderstruck, just a few of his many outrageous dance numbers. Vincent is an excellent big brother to Silas and we could not have thought of a better young man to be our Ring Security and keep our rings safe for our big day!

Maxine's second nephew, and little brother to Vincent, Silas will be all the eye candy you'll ever need! Single ladies watch out, he'll break your heart for sure! He loves cozy hugs and playing hide and seek. Silas is a feisty little firecracker with the strength of the Hulk and the wit of Iron Man and will keep you smiling all night long!

Long Distance Bridesmaid

Over 9 years ago as an RA in Oneonta, I met Janine (J9) who was at the time one of my residents. The next year we moved in together & quickly became inseparable. I loved every minute. She was not only an exceptional roommate, but a constant problem-solver, and the best wing-woman I could've asked for. From tequila shots to down the aisle, we have sure been through the ringer together. Although we may not get to talk daily we always pick up right where we left off without missing a beat. She is a tenacious bad ass with the inspirational attitude towards confronting challenges head on.J9 is the reason I know how to "let it go", have fun, & not worry about what anyone thinks because smiling, laughing, & dancing the night away making memories is truly what life is about. *Toasting from a far!*
