How We Met

July 28, 2018

This love story starts with two strangers finding themselves at the same coffee shop getting bagels and the rest is history....ok fine these love birds met on a dating app called Coffee meets bagel (Shoutout to Jacob and Anna for making the recommendation). So technically it was a “coffee shop”. Now what started off as a first date to a comedy show, would lead to a relationship full of laughter. Brenda was so enamored with Max that she would end up kidnapping him and taking him to Maryland. Two years, a vegan diet, and a global pandemic later Max would make the decision of making his relationship with Brenda eternal.

The Proposal

July 26, 2020

Some how with being quarantined together Max was able to get a ring and setup a plan without Brenda suspecting a thing. It just so happened that she had launched a website. They discussed taking pictures and Max jumped at the opportunity to suggest the National Harbor. Now Max isn’t the best photographer and Brenda made sure he was aware of it. Luckily their friend Wendy texted them to hang out. It so happens Wendy is a photographer and she conveniently offered to take pictures. Little did Brenda know she was in on Max’s proposal plans. It’s the day of the proposal. Max had invited his and Brenda’s family to be waiting along the Farris Wheel Pier to surprise her. The plan was for Wendy to take pictures of Brenda and her friend Jenny. She would then suggest to take a couples picture and even setup a que for when to propose. It was a solid plan. Nothing can go wrong right? Wrong. Everyone was where they were suppose to be. Max was a nervous mess. He was so focused on proposing that the original plan went out the window. As soon as Wendy setup the couples picture Max’s sole focus was on getting down on one knee. As he did all he could see is the amazing women that he would be marrying. He was left speechless and froze. All Brenda saw was a ring being held by shaky hands and the man that she loves smiling ear to ear on one knee. Mean while the family was confused why they hadn’t been called over to see the proposal. Unfortunately Max had botched the original plan. Susie, Brenda’s sister, brought her long lenses and was able to see the proposal from a paparazzi perspective. Max got a quick smack on the back of the head from his future father in law on behalf of both families but were overall excited for them.
