The most popular ride share app called DiDi. You will need service on your phone to use these apps. We haven't had a problem using this app at all. We highly recommend downloading and connecting your payments beforehand.

Pesos is the currency of Mexico. A quick google will tell you what the dollar is doing. A lot of touristy places accept the U.S. dollar but it is always good to have pesos on hand. A majority of banks in the U.S. allow you to order foreign currency ahead of time. Personally, I go to Bank of America and order currency before traveling out of country. It usually gets to the bank in about 2 weeks. Be sure to ask what the exchange rate is when purchasing something with US dollars and don't be hesitate to double check. A lot of street vendors and some places are cash only. A majority of major credit cards are accepted at restaurants and bars but AMEX is always hit or miss for me. Check if your card has foreign transaction fees because those can add up real quick and a bummer to come home to.
Travel Note
We always drink bottled water when in Mexico *COUGH* BEER *COUGH*. You can ask where you are staying how safe the water is to brush your teeth and cook with. Usually shouldn't be a problem but rather be safe than sorry.
Flight
Cabo will most likely save you a a couple hundred dollars but you do have to find transportation to La Paz. It is about a 2 hour drive.
Flight
This is the closest airport to the wedding venue. It is only a 15-20 minute drive. You have shorter flight options going into Cabo San Lucas but you will have to find transportation to La Paz. The link will show travel dates from June 20-25th.
Flight
Due to the increase in prices from the bay area, we want to throw another option out there for our guest. Fly into San Diego and then Uber to the Tijuana Cross Border Express. This is a good option for families and couples. It is extremely easy. If you have Southwest the flights to San Diego are about $80 or 4,500 points one way. The Uber ride is about $35 and $40 to cross directly into the airport. You spend no time outside of the airport. You cross directly into the airport and spend no time in the city of Tijuana. They have flights going directly to La Paz starting at $81 for a 2 hour plane ride or you can fly into Cabo as well. If you have any questions about this please feel free to reach out. We have done this and know many people that have and it is a great way to save a couple hundred bucks. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get from landing at the San Diego airport to get to the Tijuana airport/brodercrossing. I like a 3 hour window.
Travel Note
We did this drive and we absolutely loved it. We felt safe the whole time and the views were amazing. We do recommend stopping in Todos Santos. This is where the Hotel California is located. A fun stop along the way to grab a beer, ice cream, and some food. You can rent a car, hire drivers, and/or hop on the shuttle that takes about 3 hours to get to La Paz.
House Or Rental
As always Airbnb is a great option for people who are traveling alone, as a couple or a group. Please double check that you are booking in La Paz, Mexico. We will be staying in a condo in La Paz but have a room at the hotel the night of the wedding.
Hotel
This is where we will be getting married! Part of the MAREA campus is a 7-room boutique hotel and 8 glamping tents where family and friends can conveniently and pleasurably stay. We will be staying in a condo in La Paz but have a room at the hotel the night of the wedding.
Hotel
This is near by hotel that is a 4 minute drive or a 20 minute stumble... I mean walk...to the venue.
