It all started at a New Years Eve music festival. Both Maureen and Kyle had other plans for that weekend and instead decided last minute to ditch those plans and attend a React NYE Music Fest in Rosemont with a group of friends. Maureen had wanted to spend one last fest with her friends, Amanda and Robbie, moved away so she canceled her plane tickets out of town and bought a fest ticket instead. Kyle had learned that day that his buddy Ricky was going to spend the weekend with his sister and her friends. Kyle made the decision to buy a last minute ticket and head out with him to meet up with Amanda and her friends. When the two groups met up Maureen thought there was a handsome guy her friends were talking to but assumed he was not with the group since she had never seen him previously. Kyle and Ricky chatted about the pretty girl Kyle had never seen before either. The two appeared to have saw each other from across the room before the evening began and didn't talk much until later on in the night. Then at the DeadMau5's performance, Maureen and Kyle started dancing and the rest is history. He got her number that night and went out on their first date the following week at Cooper's Hawk and remained inseparable ever since.

Since their first dance, they have continued to dance at multiple concerts and fests, traveled the world, adopted 2 cats, and built a life together. Kyle and Maureen are a fun loving/quirky couple that love to hang out with their friends and make new ones, eat great food, and live life to the fullest. If you ask anyone that loves the couple they would say how genuine and generous they are and how much better they are together. In May 2019, Kyle decided that for Maureen's 27th Birthday celebration he would bring her back to that Cooper's Hawk restaurant and give her the best gift she could ask for: a future together. They are so excited to tie the knot and take this next step together as a couple but most of all to strengthen the partnership they have built together.
