If you would like to participate in a planned group outing on Saturday, please fill out the google form so we can anticipate numbers! Also totally fine to do your own thing!!
A complete Sun Valley MUST- one of the only places we ventured to explore during COVID and many a schooner of beer was consumed here. This is where we will meet on Friday for drinks!
A must visit is the gondola that takes you to the top of Roundhouse. There's a wonderful restaurant (the Roundhouse) that you can make a reservation at to enjoy dining with the stunning views! We recommend the fondue and fabulous espresso martinis!
Some of the most fun finds in town- you can get anything from an 80's ski outfit to a computer monitor to your favorite childhood novel.
A great local brewery with a fantastic patio for people watching!
It's not a trip to Sun Valley without a Bowl of Soul!
You wouldn't expect great sushi in the middle of the Sawtooth Mountains...but Sushi on Second is fantastic and always a treat!
The best breakfast in town- and great lunch too! We love the bagels here the most (and buy many, many bags to freeze once we're back in LA)
During the pandemic they hosted people outside in tents to dine safely and it became one of the only places that we would dine out! Great drinks and we highly recommend the cheeseburger taco.
It wouldn't be Ketchum without a trip to Warm Springs!!
The higher end consignment option in Ketchum!
A Sun Valley staple! A western steakhouse famous for their prime rib. Expect a wait, but sip on a cocktail at the bar while you're waiting!
One of our favorite spots for take out during COVID!
The best Italian food in town!
Saturday of Labor Day Weekend in Sun Valley is when the city hosts WAGON DAYS, a parade and party for the town with the centerpiece being a giant wagon parade pulled down the road by an authentic 20-mule jerk line. Don't ask us what a jerk line is though...
One of Esther's favorite places to visit- humans can also go for trail rides! Call Sun Valley Stables 208-622-2887
Call 208-622-2251 to book a tee time at one of the Sun Valley Resort Golf Courses. Will Stupar (Mr. Grace Flickinger) will be golfing all weekend- please contact him if you're interested in a round with other wedding guests!
Some favorite local hikes close to town (in order of difficulty): Adams Gulch Loop, Fox Creek Loop, Proctor Mountain and Bald Mountain.
Call the Sun Valley Resort, The Elephant's Perch or Sturtevants for bike rentals.
One of the only Dark Sky reserves in the COUNTRY, an unbelievable place to see the stars. The drive is about 45 minutes into Stanley, ID but there's a great overlook off the road where you can park and see the sky!
For any fishing enthusiasts!
Behind the Sun Valley Lodge, one of the few year-round outdoor ice rinks in the country! Come watch Olympic and world-class skaters while they practice or walk inside and rent skates! Such a fun time, no matter what skill level you're at!
