We met during college while working at Target. Matthew worked in electronics, and I worked as a cashier. After talking for a few weeks, Matthew finally got the courage to ask me out! On our first date, Matthew told the wait staff it was my birthday, so I got a free dessert! After that, I knew he was the one!

One of our favorite places in Orlando is Harry Leu Gardens! So, when Matthew told me there was a scavenger hunt there, I was ready to go! Little did I know, our families were there, and he was going to propose. After running late (and getting Chick-Fil-A), we arrived. I was very invested in the scavenger hunt and was annoyed that Matthew was rushing me! We finally got to the spot where he had placed a Harry Potter book with our ring inside of it. He got down on one knee, and the rest is history!
