Jenna and Matthew were in Grand Rapids, MI, for the weekend to attend a wedding for Matt's friends. Jenna had lived there for a few years, so she was just excited to be back visiting one of her favorite places with Matt. She mentioned to him that she would like to go to Grand Haven, another favorite spot of hers, the day after the wedding, but wasn't sure because of the rainy forecast. The next morning it rained, but Matt insisted they still go. Once they got to Grand Haven's beach, it stopped raining and so they walked the beach together all the way to the pier. Before leaving the pier, Matt asked her if she would like a photo together. They had someone take their photo (apparently too quickly), and then Jenna said, "Okay, we can go now." As they rounded the side of the light house, Matt stopped her, got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?" Jenna said, "yes!" so quickly. Unfortunately, they didn't capture it on camera, but it's a memory they will cherish forever.
