We met at a job we were doing together.. Neither one of us were very fond of each other at the beginning. A couple weeks in things started to get better and we started becoming better friends at work. I asked Matthew to hangout one night and he did.. But then blew me off the next time because he was "sick". Matthew was just unsure of what I wanted. Not even a week later Matthew saw me on Tinder and it was game over. He immediately texted me to hangout and after that night of hanging out we never left each others side again..

Matthew booked a beautiful hotel room for us downtown Des Moines for "Valentines Day". Matthew and I took our dog Bailey for a walk downtown after we got checked into our hotel. Matthew really wanted to go walk down by the river, which is where we actually had our first date. I had said okay yeah sure then were going back to the hotel. Well little did i know... We were just walking along the river with Bailey enjoying the weather and watching people fish and next thing you know Matthew is down on one knee asking me to marry him. It was the perfect place, the perfect time, and with the most perfect person. We cannot wait to celebrate the rest of our lives together!
