Located on the sight of the shooting of Kennedy, this excellent exhibit tells the historic story of Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas.
A beautiful place to walk around and spend a morning, the Dallas Arboretum is a 70-acre botanical garden set on White Rock Lake.
If you visit the arboretum, White Rock Lake is right nearby and is a beautiful place to walk around if you have the time.
This historic district was home to Fort Worth's livestock industry in the late 19th century. You can still walk around and shop at the country stores (like the famous M.L. Leddy's boot store), and watch long horns walk through the streets. Billy Bob's is right nearby as well.
If you want to check out Fort Worth and get a real taste for Texas, visit Billy Bob's, the largest honky tonk. You can two-step to live music, watch bull riding, and maybe see a concert!
A really beautiful museum out in Fort Worth with wonderful special exhibits.
A wonderful Jazz club. Make sure you have a reservation and aren't wearing jeans. They will turn you away.
