We were at a group dinner at TGIF and we briefly looked over at each other, and at that small moment we locked eyes and quickly looked away from each other, we were both filled with mixed emotions of what just transpired. That night we exchanged snapchats... in the following weeks we talked until we had our first date at I ❤ Sushi. The date that set the tempo of our amazing relationship, that has led us to our special day.

It was a normal Tuesday and we were at Disneyland, and I had no idea what was about to happen. We were going to take a picture in front of the castle, but I insisted I needed Mickey Mouse ears first. Little did I know that Matthew was super nervous at that moment and I was delaying his proposal. When we finally made our way to the castle, I did not realize what was happening before my eyes because he was taking off his shirt to reveal his "will you marry me shirt?" and once I saw him get on one knee I immediately said YES! It was the best day ever! At the most magical place!
