Welcome To Forever

We actually met by happenstance, at Hampton University. Cydney was starting her graduate program and I, a brand new Tar Heel recently starting medical school at UNC, was back at Hampton visiting friends. Cydney was talking with some of her friends after her induction ceremony, when she overheard me talking with mine about medical school. We happened to catch eyes as Cydney, being very bold in nature, said hello and introduced herself. She said I heard you were at UNC. I told her that I recently started my first year medical school after graduating from Hampton. Her eyes lit up, as she was a graduate of UNC. She went the extra mile to prove her loyalty; She whipped out her covered foot to reveal her trademark Tar Heel tattoo. I thought to myself 'she is passionate', and wished her good luck at Hampton. We later reconnected she wound up attending UNC for a summer program where I was her TA. On the first day of the program when Cydney saw me she said "Hey do you remember me? The girl with the Tarheel tattoo." Luckily for me she ended up at UNC medical school as well. As we both continued our journey through medicine our friendship blossomed into love. And the rest is history
