At this time due to the continued circulation of COVID-19 and the rising cases of the Delta variant, we cannot accomodate guests who are unvaccinated. The majority of the weekend events will be held outside under covered patio spaces with open air so that we can minimize time indoors. We are also happy for all our guests to choose to wear a mask for any and all events if they wish.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies can wear jumpsuits or dresses and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or sports coat.
We will have a shuttle to the wedding departing from the main hotel, the Gin, on main street. The shuttle will bring guests to the ceremony and take them back at the end of the night. If you prefer to drive, there is ample parking at the venue. Lexington does not have Uber/Lyft, so please plan accordingly! More details regarding transportation can be found on the "Travel" page.
We have two hotel blocks on Main Street in Lexington. Please refer to the "Travel" page for booking. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, we recommend staying close to downtown for maximum fun and convenience.
Our ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM. Guests are expected to arrive between 5 and 5:15.
Our ceremony will be unplugged, meaning that all phones should be put away and we ask that no one take photos with their own devices. Our photographer is extremely talented and we will be glad to share his photos after the wedding. After the ceremony concludes, please feel free to take and post as many photos as you like! Caroline loves a good Instagram post or story!
We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We’ve booked a couple babysitters to make that a reality. During the festivities, children will be able to hang out in the main lodge with our friends who will make their evening just as fun as the reception will be for all our adult guests!
We are so grateful that our guests are willing to travel from far and wide to be in this special place in the Blue Ridge Mountains for our event. The weather should be pleasant with temperatures in the high 70s. Please note that due to the location on House Mountain, it may be a bit breezy!
