1,200 miles and 13 long months is a true testament of love. From our first date where every other word out my mouth to Bridget was "you are so tiny" and how she didn't immediately storm out of the restaurant, forever disgusted when I ventured to dunk my mozzarella stick into sour cream. I listened to Bridget talk about her sister, watched her cry, felt like I had know her my entire life and knew this was real. After two short years of dating, which felt like a lifetime of love we were given our biggest test. I told Bridget this opportunity was something I could not pass up and she told me one day it'll be our forever together. After the three longest innings in the history of baseball and torrential downpour I finally got the opportunity to ask my best friend a question I had been dying to ask. Our forever became a reality in front of 50,000 screaming, wet and heavily intoxicated Mets fans and life together has never been the same. Now as "Floridians," with our "pumpkin headed princess" (Rosie) we begin a new chapter in this long book called life. We cannot wait to stand hand in hand on that Altar together, surrounded by each and everyone of you.
