Maid of Honor
We met before we started elementary school and have been friends ever since. Weekends at the cottage, with family and trips to together to California and Mexico. Erin is the person that knows how to make me laugh. She has such a big mischievous heart, and has gotten me into and out of so much trouble. - Bethany
Best Man
Matt's younger brother. They spent a lot of time together as kids playing whatever sports outdoors they could. Beau was a huge support for Matt during his year and a half stint with UWM.
Bridesmaid
My big sister. We've shared so much of our life together. Matching Christmas dresses, our phone voice, hideous marching band outfits, our white Jeep's, and our love for family. - Bethany
Groomsman
Matt's older brother. The two of them spent a lot of time together as kids inside playing video games together (while Beau was normally given an unplugged controller). Their enjoyment of gaming is something they both share to this day.
Bridesmaid
Little sister, fellow Spartan and plant lover. Shares our mom's creative spirit and Whiskey kitty's roommate. - Bethany
Groomsman
Matt and Nate met while playing football for Groves High School. A one time roommate while at Western Michigan, they have remained steadfast friends throughout the years. Matt shares some of Nate's enjoyment for the outdoor activities, although to a bit less extreme, just ask him to find out about his most recent sporting injuries...
Bridesmaid
Such a peach. Kelley and I met at MSU in the horticulture program and we love to share a coffee cup full of wine. We've gone on many adventures together, to Shenandoah National park, wine shops and almost ever spirits establishment in East Lansing and Chicago. Now we are a bit far apart, but she is still my go to call for career advice. - Bethany
Groomsman
Friends since middle school, Matt and Nick have been lucky enough to remain good friends, despite Nick moving across the country after college. Some of the fondest memories I have go back to high school, blasting Three Six Mafia with the doors of the minivan open. Yes, we were very stupid teenagers.
Bridesmaid
We met Katie in high school and have been great friends through the years. Volleyball, MSU and then we lived together in an upper flat, in Ferndale. She introduced me to craft beer! - Bethany
Groomsman
While technically meeting while on the same youth soccer team, Matt and Ian reconnected around middle school through Boy Scouts. They became Eagle Scouts together in high school, and one can't think of anyone who exemplifies the Boy Scout Motto (at least most of it) than Ian.
Bridesmaid
Known in my family as the 'whistler'. We've spent much time puzzling, singing in the car and camping. We met at our job, Four Seasons Landscaping, and after they told us we needed to stop talking in our shared office so much, we decided to be friends outside of work too. - Bethany
Groomsman
The Boy.
Bridesmaid
We met at Michigan State in 2011 and really cemented our friendship at a Halloween party. Kat has always invited me along for a horseback ride or family 4th of July party. Such a bubbly and warm friend. - Bethany
Groomsman
The "newest" friend to the group, and one-time former roommate. Matt and Ryan met at Western Michigan University, going to various fraternity parties/events (Matt was not in Greek life, very important that you all understand that). Their friendship really grew after college when Ryan moved in with some of Matt's high school friends.
Officiant
Several time roommate, and Best Friend of Matt's. Matt and Cory's friendship really began to grow while rooming together their freshman year at the dorm. They have been deeply involved in each other's lives ever since. No one was a bigger supporter of when Matt and Beth got together than he was, and they could think of no one else that we would be honored to have officiate their wedding
