It's wedding time!

Neither Andrea nor Matthew had any ties to Wapakoneta before a teaching job took them both to the high school. Matthew had been there about 3 years when Andrea joined the staff. On Andrea's first day at the high school, she was cleaning out her new classroom when, the Track coach, Matthew, stopped down to her room to meet the "new, young teacher". They talked for a little bit that day but then went their separate ways. Jump forward to the beginning of August when they both started going into the school more to prepare for the upcoming year. Matthew seemed to make his way down to Andrea's room on a somewhat daily basis. The conversations got longer each day and they began to realize the relationship that was blossoming. The day before the start of the school year, Matthew asked Andrea to lunch at Lulu's Diner in Wapak. By the end of the date, they were both sure that the other person was "the one." One week later, they went to a football game together - the dates then became an almost nightly occurrence. The two got to experience some very special times together over the year, such as a trip to Cleveland, North Carolina, and the historical COVID shut down. On July 6th, 2020, just before Matthew and Andrea were about to leave and revisit Lulu's for the 2nd time, he got down on one knee and asked Andrea to marry him. It was an easy decision for them both. When you know, you know!
