Cheers to our forever

We met as freshmen in high school. He was on the football team and I was on the cheerleading team which meant that inevitably, we were around each other a lot. What started as a group of friends hanging out quickly became a typical high school relationship of late-night calls and 24/7 texting. We were young, but as our relationship evolved through the end of high school and our college years, it became clear that our relationship was going to last a lifetime. One might think that after a decade, that love might start to fade, but we can honestly say that it has only gotten stronger.... I am so excited to marry my best friend.

For years, we would go visit the Rockefeller Christmas tree together, the first time in 2011. 4 trips and 8 years later, he got down on 1 knee and proposed to me under that tree. Of course knowing Matthew he tried to make a joke right before asking me, but when he got down on 1 knee, without a doubt I knew I was going to say yes to marrying the love of my life.
