Important things to know

Our wonderful venue is in the alpine forest 20 minutes north of the city. On-site there are 20 campgrounds, 4 cabins, and 3 yurts provided for our wedding guests to use. Please bring your camping gear, comfy pajamas, and warm bedding if you'll be staying at the venue. It is BYOB (bring your own bedding) so please don't hesitate to bring all your favorite sleeping/camping essentials. If you're not a big camper please see our travel page for other local accommodations. We are hosting a pie potluck at the wedding with a designated table so if any of you enjoy baking and have a homemade recipe you'd like to show off we would love if you would bring a pie or two. Homemade is preferred please. We will provide a label for your pie so the other guests know what they are getting. Please let me know ahead of time if your piece contains nuts so we can be sure to make note of that in case anyone has a nut allergy.
Question

Wondering when to set up your campsite?

Answer

Guests are able to arrive as early as 1 pm on the day of the wedding and need to be offsite by 10 am the next morning. Setting up camp by 2 pm is advised so as to allow ample time to get ready for the ceremony that will be beginning at 5:00 pm.

Question

How will we get ready at a campsite?

Answer

The is a lodge onsite which has restrooms with one shower in each bathroom and we will be providing a restroom trailer which will have another set of showers if you need to use them. If you need to blow dry or curl your hair there will space for that but it will be limited so if you have the ability to get ready before getting to the venue it would likely be a more convenient option for you.

Question

Can you bring a guest?

Answer

As long as you RSVP'd with a plus one when receiving your invitation we would love for you to bring someone with you. Those who chose to go solo, just bring yourself and a desire to have a great night under the stars.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is preferred. However, we will be walking and dancing on the forest floor so a flat bottomed shoe or one with a chunky heel will likely be more comfortable. If you catch a chill easily please bring along a sweater and some warm Pj's to ensure you don't get too cold once the sunsets. Average Flagstaff temperature in June is a high of 81 and a low of 49 so it could get pretty chilly at night without warm blankets and warm clothes.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

We will be serving dinner and desserts at the reception and there will be snacks. That said, due to the nature of camping you may want to bring along some extra food if you are a late-night snacker!
