Every first Friday of the month there is a festival of sorts in downtown Brattleboro. Galleries host local artists' work, shops stay open later, and sometimes there's even performances and live music in the streets! We met for the very first time at the September Gallery Walk back in 2009. If you find yourself in town the night before the wedding we invite you to take part in some of the festivities!
Right over the Connecticut River, overlooking the town of Brattleboro, is Mt. Wantastiquet. In just under 4 miles of moderately difficult trail you'll find one of the best views the area has to offer.
If you're in the mood for a shorter, slightly easier hike to catch some local views, look no further than Putney Mountain. We recommend the Nature Trail Loop. The hike itself is about one and a half miles and you'll even take a drive on some scenic dirt roads to reach the trailhead!
Maple treats! And this sugar house is just miles from where we plan to build our future home! We highly recommend getting the maple creamie.
If you like sour beers as much as we do you should definitely check out this brewery!
