Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, we request that only those listed on the invitation attend. We really wish we could invite everyone, but we only have so much space. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Shuttle Times

Answer

There is a shuttle for guests staying at the hotel that will drop them off at the California Botanic Garden before the start of the ceremony and pick them up from Walter's Restaurant at the end of the reception. Here is the current schedule: 2:00pm - Depart DoubleTree Hilton, heading to Botanic Garden 5:00pm - Depart Botanic Garden, heading to Walter's Restaurant 9:30pm - Depart Walter's, heading back to DoubleTree Hilton

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend guest arrival time at the California Botanic Garden's at 2:30 to accommodate for tram pick up and drop off. The tram will take guests to the culitvar garden, where the ceremony will take place. The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00.

Question

How do we get from California Botanic Garden to Walter's Restaurant?

Answer

Walter's Restaurant is located less than one mile from California Botanic Garden. For those not taking the shuttle, we suggest carpooling if necessary or using a ride-share service to make the short trip. There will be plenty of time between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception, so feel free to explore the garden or downtown Claremont!

Question

How accessible is the CA Botanic Garden?

Answer

The garden will provide a tram from the parking lot to the Cultivar Garden (ceremony space) for anyone with limited mobility. The tram will also be available to get to and from the restrooms on site. ( From their website) The Administrative Building (first floor), California Courtyard, CalBG classrooms, all Garden venues and facilities (i.e., Container Garden, California Cultivar Garden) are all accessible by wheelchair. The Grow Native Nursery has gravel paths which might not be accessible to certain mobility devices.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire We recommend flat bottom or thick heeled shoes as the garden does have some uneven terrain. Bring a light jacket or sweater in the unlikely event we get cool weather in SoCal.
