Summer and Matt first met at an Irish Bar on St. Paddy's day in 2013. They... didn't hit it off. But fortunately their friends briefly dated, which brought their circles together. So they made the logical decision to start dating when Summer was in the Caribbean for Med School. This isn't known as the easy route. They social distanced over Skype before Zoom was cool. From LA to Santa Barbara, and now the Bay, their love story is full of travel and adventure. Matt proposed in November of 2019, with their plan all along to get married at the end of residency. Certain extenuating circumstances that you are aware of pushed that date back, but it doesn't matter because we'll all celebrate together in September!
