For those who don't know, Hinge is a dating app best known for its slogan, 'the app designed to be deleted.' And who would've thought that, indeed, we both deleted it after meeting each other? We messaged for a couple of days until we scheduled our first date. After a few rebookings, we finally set the date and the place. Funny enough, the rooftop we originally planned was closed for a private event, and we decided to go to another rooftop that turned out to be closed for a private event also! So we ended up going to an Irish pub around the corner, where we had an amazing and long first date. It was definitely not what we had planned for our first date on a beautiful summer day, but you can tell that it worked pretty well! Mati then went on a long work trip to Africa, and shortly after, Olivia visited her family in Brazil. We didn't see each other for a while, but upon Olivia's arrival in NYC, Mati picked her up at the airport at 7 a.m. on a Saturday and took her to a beautiful sunflower field. That was the day they both realized they should delete Hinge.
