Nashville, Tennessee— affectionately dubbed "Music City" for a pretty good reason. With hundreds of venues and a rich country music history, this city was built on good tunes and great company. While you’re in town, picnic in Centennial Park or venture to Fifth & Broadway for shopping and a bite to eat. Get your country music fix on the Music City Walk of Fame or Music Row. Visit the Dolly Parton-themed bar White Limozeen at the Graduate Hotel for an awesome cocktail and even better rooftop views. Stop by 5 Daughters Bakery to taste their hundred-layer donut (yes, you read that right!) or nibble on the delectable cheese board at our neighborhood haunt, Barcelona Wine Bar. Or, if you are craving a Nashville classic, try our favorite barbeque joint, Peg Leg Porker BBQ!
Franklin, TN
This town is located 45 minutes from Nashville, TN, and only 30 minutes from the venue! For a truly unique Franklin experience, plan a visit to Mistletoe Farm to meet their friendly alpacas! Owners Leanne and Tom Butchko are passionate alpaca farmers who enjoy showing visitors around their 15-acre farm. Be sure to stop by the farm store to pick up crafts made with alpaca fibers or take a class to learn how to spin, weave or felt! Or, if you are looking for a relaxing afternoon, head downtown to the 16-block National Register district of antique shops, gift and book stores, art galleries, boutiques, lovingly restored homes, and more. It boasts an award-winning Main Street, brick sidewalks, a stunning collection of Victorian buildings, and, in our opinion, a fun time with shops for everyone!
The Fainting Goat Coffee Co.
Located only 15 minutes from the venue! Need to sit down and unwind or have a strong cup of coffee? This was our favorite local coffee shop we visited when planning our wedding! I recommend a hot honey cinnamon latte, while Ryan recommends the 5/4 Carbonite with caramel.

Feeling adventurous? About 30 minutes out from the venue, you have Lucky Duck River rentals! The Duck River, 284 miles long, is the longest river located entirely within the U.S. state of Tennessee. Free-flowing for most of its length, the Duck River is home to over 50 species of freshwater mussels and 151 species of fish, making it the most biologically diverse river in North America.
