We would like all of our friends and family to know that Nate and I have decided to postpone the wedding reception to Friday August 6, 2021. We are planning to continue with our ceremony on 11/21/2020 with our immediate family and we are looking into a live stream option for you all to watch. We just want everyone to remain safe and healthy and look forward to seeing everyone next year.

On October 5th 2015, Lauren and Nate both swiped right on Tinder (a dating app). Nate initiated the conversation, with the romantic line of "Hey." They talked for a few weeks, communicating via text messaging and Snapchat. Lauren was hesitant to pursue a relationship that was generated via Tinder, and because of this she delayed going on a first day with Nate - making him "work for it." Nate's, considerate and consistent, good morning text messages are what made Lauren realize that this was a relationship worth exploring. Nate's persistence eventually led towards Lauren agreeing to go on their 1st date on November 7th 2015. Nate picked Lauren up at her apartment in his "baby Prius" car. Lauren's friends and family curiously tracked her "Find My Friends" during their 1st date. Nate took Lauren to dinner at Pi Pizzeria and a movie at the Chase Park Plaza (The Bridge of Spies). After that first date, Lauren and Nate have continued to fall in love with each other each and every day. From travelling to visit each other from Edwardsville to SLU each weekend to starting a life in St. Charles, MO with their dog, Sophie, they are excited to have their family and friends join them in celebrating this next part of their chapter.
