Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can do it! Please know that your attendance will be based off of your RSVP. We have to provide a total guest count to the caterers. Thank you for understanding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promtly at 3:00 pm. Guests are asked to arrive at 2:30 at the Wedding Gazebo. We encourage everyone to arrive early since Cypress Gardens is a beautiful place to walk around and even go for a boat ride. You can enter the park as early as 10:00am. Let the gate person know you are a guest of the Acosta-McWhorter wedding.

Dressy Casual Attire, Cocktail Attire or Dress to Impress!!!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP please list names and ages of children so we may have an appropriate age activity box ready for them!

Can I take pictures or videos at the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We have hired professional photographers to capture our special memories. But if you enjoy taking pictures and videos, we ask respectfuly to keep flashes off, record from your seat and share with us on our Google photo album! https://photos.app.goo.gl/a624K2YZY52BRnET6

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. Drink are on us until 9:00pm.

Answer

No. Your presence is the greatest gift of all, however should you like to bless us with a gift, a gift towards our next vacation would really make our day.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour (4:00 to 5:00 PM) followed by a buffet with a selection of Chicken Marsala, Herb and Garlic-Crusted Pork Loin, Au gratin Potatoes and Squash Medley with Tomato.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

We expect an average temperature of 48ºF (9ºC) - 59ºF (15ºC) on January 27th/2024.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! At the same location, Cypress Gardens. We will have our Ceremony at the Wedding Gazebo (plan on a 10 min walk from the parking area to the Ceremony Venue) followed by the Reception at Dean Hall. If it rains, we will move the Ceremony to Dean Hall.
