It was our first valentine’s that we actually celebrated together. Tui took me to our favorite Italian spot where we had our first date, Buca di beppo. I could tell he looked a little nervous that day, there was even a point where he reached in his pocket and smiled at me during dinner. After dinner he took me to Oakland University, my school where I graduated back in 2018. When we were long distance he would visit me all the time on campus so this school is very special to us. There’s a bridge that covers a lake that we often took walks on, the lake was frozen and covered with snow that day. Tui decided to take pictures of us on the bridge. He told me to turn around facing away from him so he could get a picture of me looking at the lake. When I turned around there he was standing there with the ring smiling at me, he didn't get on his knees and didn't say a word. I could tell he was a little nervous so I had to remind him to ask me to marry him. It was the sweetest moment and was perfectly imperfect. Of course I said yes 💍 and we went for ice cream after, it was the sweetest day and I couldn't of imagined it any more perfect!
