Mason and Miles Taylor's story begins during the summer after Mason's freshmen year of college and Miles Taylor's senior year of high school. Mason knew just the way to win Miles Taylor over with the most romantic first date, catfish at the Cock of the Walk. From that moment forward, they were inseparable all summer! After their first summer together, Mason transferred to Mississippi College from MS Gulf Coast Community College to continue his football career and further his degree in Mathematics. Miles Taylor began her freshmen year at Mississippi College, where she studied chemistry. They spent their first semester at MC together having a blast! Mason even gained a special nickname (ask him about the song "Wobble")!! During that semester, Mason received his orders from the Mississippi Air National Guard, where he would be sent off to begin his 9 month training to become a C-17 loadmaster. This meant 9 months of long distance for Mason and Miles Taylor, 2 of those being minimal communication. Mason left for basic training in February of 2022 and Miles Taylor continued her freshmen year of college. This 9 month period consisted of tons of letters, phone calls, and trips to Texas and Oklahoma to see each other. Long distance was hard, but they were determined to make it through this difficult chapter. Mason came back home to Jackson in October of 2022. The two are proud to say they survived long distance! Both back at home in Clinton, they continued with their schooling and starting getting seriously involved in Fondren Church. One of their favorite things to do is serve at Fondren Church with their friends from the College Ministry. Getting to grow in their relationship with Christ and each other is something special to them! Mason graduated in May 2024 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration. Mason is on track to get his MBA at Mississippi College and is currently working at the CSpire headquarters in Ridgeland as a digital analyst. Miles Taylor is on track to graduate from MC in December of 2024 with a B.S. in Chemistry and plans to attend pharmacy school in 2025. They are so thankful for all of their friends and family for their love and support throughout the years and are so excited to celebrate March 15th with all of you!
