Question
Will dinner be served at the reception?
Answer
Due to the ceremony being later in the evening dinner will not be served during the reception. Snacks, desserts, and beverages will be served at the reception though! If you would like to eat in Skiatook before the wedding we have put some of our favorite places to eat in the “Things to do” tab!

Why did the date change?
Answer
There were many conflicts that arose with our previous date. After much thought and discussion we decided that it would be best and less stressful on us the day of to move the date! We appreciate your grace and understanding with this change!

Dietary needs with snacks and deserts!
Answer
We will have gluten free options, there will also be fruit and other naturally dairy free options. We plan to have some peanut options at the wedding but also plan to have them safely separated from other foods!

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?
Answer
We will not be serving alcohol at the wedding and we ask that you do not bring your own alcohol to the wedding either! Thank you!

How far out is the wedding location?
Answer
The wedding is located at a vacation rental home that is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Skiatook and 25 minutes from downtown Tulsa. It is in the “country” so it may seem as though you are traveling to the middle of nowhere!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The goal is for the wedding to be outdoors. If there is inclement weather the wedding will be moved to Skiatook Church of Christ in Skiatook, OK. Updates will be sent to your email through the Zola app.

What is the attire for the wedding?
Answer
We ask that you wear your Sunday best but no matter what you wear we are so thankful for you coming to celebrate us and our marriage so if you feel more comfortable in something else that is perfectly fine with us!

Are we able to take photos at the wedding?
Answer
We ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony but during the reception we would love for you to take as many photos as you like and will also have a way for you to share your photos and videos with us!

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
Yes!! We love you guys and your whole family and would love for you all to join us on our special day (unless you just need a reason to get a sitter! 😉)
