We’re Getting Married!

Although Mason and I met at Wagener-Salley High School when my Heart Monitor went off in the hallway, we made it official in the small town of Wagener, SC. We worked together at our local Piggly Wiggly. I was a cashier and Mason was a clerk. When I first saw him pushing that heavy machine around I knew.. he had to be mine. I didn’t quite know how else to get his attention other than flickering the light on Register 2 to ask him if he could bag my stuff.. but it clicked after I saw on his friends Snapchat story that he had been in a car accident. I asked him if he was okay and to a surprise I was one of the only people other than his buddies who asked him that question. To him I was a complete stranger but I felt like I’ve known him my entire life. Standing there, mopping the floors and vacuuming the rugs with the most beautiful brown eyes I had ever seen. Eventually, he started staying late to help me count the change out of my drawer. Some will say it was because I was slow at counting money.. including him.. but I say otherwise. He never let me walk outside alone and insisted on opening the doors for me. I added him on Snapchat and spent an entire night talking to him. After chatting for over 12 hours and passing out from exhaustion. I titled him my bag boy. Now, I have the honor of titling him my husband and I know I wouldn’t change it for the world.
