Ana and Mason's story begins in 2015 at The University of Pittsburgh. They were both hired as bench technicians in the same biology lab, but to their surprise there would be a little bit of chemistry. They remained good friends through college, and were always happy to run into each other at the local bars on the weekend (or during the week. It was college, relax). Senior year Mason asked Ana out for Valentine's Day, but was sadly rejected because Ana had to "study". Perhaps this would've been the end of the story, but two years later after keeping in touch through text and Snapchat since they were living in different cities, Mason made his second attempt to get a Valentine's Day date. SUCCESS! Mason drove to Rochester from Pittsburgh for what would be the first of many weekend trips back and forth for the both of them, and eventually would lead to Mason moving cities to be closer to Ana. Three years later they are happily engaged living in the Park Avenue neighborhood of Rochester with their puppy Fiona, and on August 26th, 2023 they will begin the next chapter of their story.
