• La Mar de Bien, Buritaca is approx. 1 hour by road from Santa Marta city and 1.5 hours from Santa Marta airport - taxi costs approx. 120.000 COP from the city, or 180.000 COP from the airport. This can be arranged by the hotel if needed. Then hotel is 400m off the main road towards the coast. • If visiting the venue from other cities on the coast: Santa Marta is approx. 2 hours by minibus from Barranquilla, or 4.5 hours from Cartagena. If you prefer, you can travel by taxi (nearer the date, we can organise shared minibuses from Barranqulla and Santa Marta, if people are interested). o Recommended (safe) bus companies to Santa Marta: https://marsol.com.co/home (advance booking, every 2 hrs) or Berlinastur (just turn up, every 20 mins) o The only international flight directly into Santa Marta is from Panama City (Copa Airlines). o Santa Marta has domestic flights to Bogota, Medellin, Cali. Barranquilla and Cartegena both have larger international airports.
