Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes and No… Transportation is not provided to and from Old Saint Andrews Church for the wedding ceremony. There will be a break following the ceremony before the reception begins. For the reception at Boone Hall Plantation, guests may choose to drive their own car, Uber, or hop on one of the buses provided. The buses will depart from the Doubletree Hotel and Townplace Suites at 4:30 pm, and take guests to Boone Hall Plantation. The buses will return guests following the reception. However, if you choose to drive to the reception, there will be ample parking.

What can I expect the Charleston weather to be like in October?

Answer

October brings average highs of 77°F, falling further to 70°F by November. Average lows range from 67°F in September, down to 57°F in October and 47°F in November. Daily variability in temperature increases somewhat in the later part of fall, with some days only reaching the 60s (or even the 50s) and others well into the 80s. Humidity can still be very high through September, but declines substantially in October and November, making the latter months, with their warm and pleasant weather, one of the best times of the year to see Charleston.
