In light of current circumstances and out of concern for our loved ones, we have decided to exchange wedding vows in a private ceremony on 10.10.2020. Health and safety are most important to us, and we look forward celebrating our marriage with you, our friends and family, next year on 10.9.21.
Mary and I met for the first time at a social gathering in September of 2017, but we spent many weeks before and after that catching each other’s eye in the halls of the PT Center at UCA. I may have squandered countless opportunities to ask Mary out, but I finally pulled the trigger a few months later. We hit it off on our first date at the Marketplace Grill, and as the saying goes, “the rest was history.” Over the past 3 years, our academic journeys have taken us from South Dakota to Louisiana and quite a few places in between. After nearly 16 months of long-distance and thousands of miles travelled to see each other, we can’t wait to celebrate the end of our time apart. We have overcome many challenges as individuals becoming adults, healthcare providers navigating the changing times, and partners building a life together. Mary and I are so grateful for the unconditional love and unwavering support we have received over the years from you, our friends and family. Overwhelmed with gratitude, we look forward to celebrating the beginning of our together forever on 10.10.2020.
