What is the schedule of the wedding and reception?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will start at 4:30 PM and will be followed by a cocktail reception and dinner with dancing. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be under a tent.

Where do we park at the wedding?

Answer

There will be limited street parking in front of the house, and we will be directing guests to park at a field next door and walk over (address is 44 Thissell St.). You will be directed to that parking area when you arrive.

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress is cocktail attire (men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress) but please keep in mind that it will be outside under a tent. Women may not want to wear heels that might sink into the grass.

When will the reception begin and end?

Answer

After the ceremony the reception will begin at 5PM and will end around 10PM.

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

For those guests staying in Salem for the night or weekend we will be having a breakfast at the Hawthorne hotel on Sunday, 7/25 from 9AM to 11AM. Mary had to give a final guest count to the hotel on 7/20 of guests staying in Salem or close by.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle bus running from the Hawthorne hotel to the wedding and back. Schedule: Leaving Hawthorne hotel - 3:30PM Leaving wedding (first shuttle) - 9:00-9:15PM Laving wedding (last shuttle) - 10:15PM

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

The wedding party will be vaccinated and not wearing masks. It's up to the comfort of our guests to wear a mask or not. We are not requiring our guests to be vaccinated or tested prior to the wedding.
