One of my favorite memories of Ty is when we went down to Mexico Beach together and we decided to watch the movie Interstellar. During the part where they ride down the big wave we said “Cowabunga dude” at the EXACT same time, almost as one voice and I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed so hard in my life. You just had to be there.

Sister of the Bride I was the first to meet the bride on May 20, 1999… fifteen short years later I met the groom in the Publix parking lot. Ty wanted to make sure May May had a dozen roses and a love letter waiting for her when she got home from her summer law program at Stanford. Though a lot has changed over the last 9 years, some things have stayed the same. May May is still working hard to make her dreams of becoming a lawyer come true, and Ty is still treating her like the most special person on the planet.

My favorite memory of Ty is watching him go airborne... and unfortunately missing the slip and slide last summer. Truly an iconic moment. From hours of video games, to hollering at any sport we can, or hiking through the mountains, it's all added up to a friend I am honored to stand next to on his wedding day. I also never had MK's phone number saved in my phone until recently.

But my most favorite memories always take place when we all go to the Mexico beachhouse and that one time we nicknamed it mexitoe beach LOL. I love how important Ty and May May's friends are to them and I know I could go to either one of them at any time!

I met Mary Kate on a sorority retreat while taking a picture of her on a flamingo float…forever thankful for that photoshoot. My favorite memory of Mary Kate and Ty is going to Pauley's with them on one of their anniversaries that Emily and I 100% crashed.

Always a great duo to partake in vacations with. Mary Kate has never produced a plan with a falter. Ty educated me on how to properly burn hot dogs. On our annual camping trip when our lead chef went down, Ty stepped in and provided what was similar to the feeding of the 5000, running a grill and two griddles simultaneously to perfection. He always has a superb beer in rotation.
