We’re getting married!

After a cute video of Jeff’s dog Playdoh prompted Mary Ellen to reach out, they got to know each other with a great conversation and a bowl of ramen. A second date for an escape room convinced both of them that they were a great team, and Jeffrey and Mary Ellen were inseparable from then on.

Mary Ellen was on a trip with a friend, and blissfully unaware that Jeffrey was trekking all over Colorado to surprise her with a beautiful, heirloom ring and a proposal. After a long hike, and several detours for Jeffrey, he caught up with her at an overlook on the side of a mountain, and after several long seconds Mary Ellen figured out what was happening and said YES to a lifetime of being caught off guard by Jeff’s thoughtfulness and persistence!
