In 2012, Forrest was planning a trip to Coachella and invited his friend Paul to come along. Paul invited his younger sister Becca, who happened to be Mary’s friend! The girls joined, allowing Mary and Forrest to meet surrounded by amazing friends and live music in the 112-degree desert heat. The next few years of college were filled with weekends back and forth from Pitzer and UCLA, merging the friend groups entirely. Nine years later, Mary and Forrest are still surrounded by amazing friends, live music, and trips to the desert.
