When should I arrive at Gesu?

Please arrive at the Church no later than 2:45pm.

Where can I park at Gesu?

Answer

There are two free parking lots available on Saturday for visitors to Gesu. The first is Marquette University Lot J, which is immediately adjacent to the Gesu Parish Center. The entrance to the lot is on 11th Street south of Wisconsin Avenue and the address is 601 N 11th St, Milwaukee, WI 53233 The second available lot is the Marquette University parking structure at the corner of 13th and Wells (1240 W. Wells Street). One hundred spaces are reserved on the structure’s first floor for Gesu. This structure is secure and monitored 24 hours a day by the Marquette University Police Department. Where can I park at The Atrium?

Answer

There is street parking available at The Atrium. Guests are also more than welcome to park in the Public Library parking lot and the school lot across the street.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit or sport coat and tie for men.

Can I bring my kids?

Due to space constraints at the venue (and both of our large families!) we have had to limit the guest list to those named on the invitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to host children at our wedding. If you are coming from out-of-town and are in need of babysitting recommendations, please contact us and we can put you in touch with trusted sitters!

Where do I stay?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at two hotels: The Hilton Milwaukee City Center and the Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel. Both of these hotels are conveniently located in downtown Milwaukee.
