Dress code is Cocktail Attire. As it is February, if you would like to wear a long dress, that is fine. Tuxedos are NOT required.
We have a block of rooms at the Homewood Suites and Courtyard Marriott, both on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. More information can be found under our Travel tab. We also included a link to other hotels in the area that you may choose to stay at.
Once you are seated during the reception, you will find a menu and will be able to place your order with your table's server. We will have a beef, poultry, fish, and vegetarian option for the main course. Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Church with many handicapped spots available if necessary.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Grandview. If necessary, you can leave your car there overnight and collect it the next morning.
If you have not checked into your hotel, this would be a great time to do so. Maybe take a quick rest before we dance away the rest of the evening. If you would like to explore Poughkeepsie, we've included some of our favorite places under the To-Do tab. Shadows on the Hudson is a great option for a drink before as it neighbors our reception venue.

Dinner will be served around 8:30. But don't worry! There is plenty of food to be had during the cocktail hour

So glad you asked! As it turns out, anyone can call the Dept. of Transportation and choose what color the bridge lights will be on a given day. We selected green to not only match our theme but also to honor our alma mater, Binghamton University, the place where our story began.
