After living in Orlando for 7 years, Mary began looking for opportunities to transfer back to her home state of Louisiana. On Jan 20, 2017, that opportunity finally became available and she enthusiastically accepted a transfer to New Orleans. And then as fate would have it, later that same day in Orlando’s only furniture store/bar, she would meet Justin… While the timing was not perfect, it was quickly apparent to each of them that this was a very special relationship and they quickly grew very close. Mary was able to delay – and delay and then delay her transfer to New Orleans until finally the time came that she had to move to New Orleans. Over the next two years, Justin and Mary flew dozens of Southwest flights, continuing their romance as their love and frequent flier miles continued to grow. They navigated the long distance and co-parenting of their American Bulldog Louie, never going a day without talking. Despite the challenge of distance and differing SEC allegiances their love grew deeper and Justin proposed in December 2018. On Christmas Eve, Justin and Mary announced their engagement at her Grandparents house - the same house as her parents had announced their engagement 40 years to the day earlier. On May 16, 2020 they’ll tie the knot in New Orleans and they are hoping that you will be able to join them to celebrate and throw a big Louisiana style party!
